The lovely bones

In this issue, Little et al. show that blocking aggrecanolysis in cartilage protects against erosion and may potentiate cartilage repair (page 1627). In another bone-related research manuscript, Wang and colleagues demonstrate that HIF-1α couples angiogenesis to osteogenesis during skeletal development (page 1616).
